Qiglow ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use and store it, and the rights you have. If you have questions, contact us at support@getqiflow.com.

1.1 Account Information

When you register, we collect your email address for authentication and account security. You may also sign in with Apple or Google, in which case we receive only the account identifier permitted by your authorization.

1.2 Birth Profile

To generate compatibility charts, Five Elements analysis, and compatibility readings, we need your date of birth, time of birth, and gender. Calculations are performed locally on your device. Data is only transmitted to our servers when you explicitly save your profile to your account.

1.3 Compatibility History

Partner records you save (nickname, birth data, analysis results) are stored locally on your device only and are not uploaded to our servers. Uninstalling the app or clearing app data permanently removes them.

1.4 AI Conversation Content

Messages you send to the AI Energy Guide are transmitted over encrypted connections to our servers for processing and are not retained after a response is generated. They are never used for marketing or shared with unrelated third parties.

1.5 Subscription and Purchase Data

Your subscription status and purchase history are managed by Apple App Store and RevenueCat. We receive only your subscription status (whether you are a Premium member). We do not store payment card details.

1.6 Device and Diagnostic Data

To maintain app stability, we may collect device model, OS version, app version, and anonymized crash logs. These do not include personally identifiable information.

4. Data Security

All data in transit is protected by TLS encryption. Account credentials are stored using one-way hashing. We periodically review access controls. No security measure is absolute; if a data incident occurs, we will notify you as required by law.

5. Your Rights

Upon account deletion, your profile and account data will be permanently removed within 30 days. Local device data must be cleared manually.

If you are a California resident, you have specific rights regarding your personal information:

Notice of Collection: We collect identifiers (email address) and characteristics (birth data) solely to provide our core service. We do not "sell" or "share" your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined under the CCPA.

7. Children's Privacy

Qiglow is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Changes to This Policy

We will notify you of material changes through a prominent in-app notice before they take effect. Continued use of the app after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
